haunted home tour.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again-
the Hambschs take holidays very seriously.
And Halloween is no exception!

So today I wanted to give you a little tour of our HAUNTED home-
it's pretty SPOOK-tacular if I do say so myself.
I love love love styling my home, so when fall rolls around Zak and I always make it a point to go find a new fun piece to showcase in our place and then we get to work transforming our wittle apartment.
It's really the best.
And it's become a tradition for us to put on some Monster Mash tunes, watch a BAT-tastic Halloween film, bust out the spider webs and get to work be-WITCHING our home.
Something I can't wait to do with our little pumpkin who's on his way.
:)

I really just love a pumpkin on a cake stand.
And then a crow to boot is like the cherry on top.

Details, details details.
These bat straws will always have a place in my heart.
I snagged those puppies up as soon as I saw them on the shelf.

This WICKED bowl holds all of our sweets for trick-or-treaters.
One of my favorite pieces we have.
I get really excited thinking about showing our HAUNT-ingly fun
decorations to all our kiddos someday.

The fat rat in the cage is always a fun one to get out.
I usually like to hang him up, but this year he seemed fit on the ground.
Oh and my trusty ole chalkboard sign never disappoints.
I can always throw some type of garland or lights around it and waalaa..
it's SPELL-binding.

Spider webs, spider webs, spider webs.
You can never have enough creepy crawly spider webs.

Same thing applies to baby pumpkins!
I could fill every shelf of our book case with those cutie pies.

And you gotta have some bats.
It's. A. Must.
And totally the GHOUL-cool thing to have hanging on your walls these days.
But save yourself some time, and just go buy them for 3 bucks at le Target.
You're welcome.
:)

Another fun thing about Halloween decorations is that anything distressed totally makes your house look TERROR- ific in all the right ways.
Especially when you add some skulls and black roses.

I love finding little accent pieces like these poison bottles.
Again it's all about the details and talking pieces.

Did I mention details?!
Do you notice anything FRIGHT-full about this wedding photo of ours?

In our entryway I opted for a little more fall fun rather than haunted mansion so I can keep it like this in November.
Less work, the better I say.

Oh and you can't forget about a little spider infestation!
What's more creepy than a pack of buggers crawling up your walls?!

And here you can kinda get a glimpse of our entire living area.
Remember I mentioned we have a wittle place.
And though it might be tiny, it's fully festive-
and this soon-to-be MUMMY loves it oh so much.

Thanks for checking out our
BOO-tiful home
and I WHICH you MONSTER-ously
super-NATURAL day!

xoxo

romie randoms.

Happy Friday everyone!
Have any exciting plans for the weekend?!
Zak has a huge test coming up, which means I'm on my own!
So I'm grabbing brunch with my best friend, going shopping at the Outlets and making our Halloween costumes!
Lots of fun stuff in to look forward to.
It's been crazy town around here, so a little retail therapy and girl time will certainly help me out.
:)
Next week I'm going to post all our fun Halloween decor and little home tour, along with a fun fall bucket list we made this season- so look out for that!
I seriously just love this time of year.
It's really the best.
Now, I just want the crisp cool air to be here, and we'll be good to go!
Because for some reason it still hit 102 this week...!
Oh and I think Zak and I have a baby moon location picked, which is also super exciting!
So random, but had to mention that.
I found these random pics of Romie and I-
and had to share.

He's just the sweetest bear in the whole wide world and he makes Zak and I so happy.
Pets are the best people.
I can't wait for him to meet baby, he's going to make the best big brother.
Welp, hope you have a lovely Friday-
TGIF!

bumpdate.

Hello!
Hope your week is going well.
With all the craziness that's been going on, I've totally been behind on posting about my bump!
I get lots of people asking to post pics, and I always forget..
But, I just went through all my super classy high quality bathroom bump selfies and put them in a little collage-
It's crazy to see how much my belly has changed already!
I was bad at labeling my pics lol and I tried to wear similar stuff for each one..
but now the weeks all mush together.. opps!
All I know for sure is that the first one is from 5-6 weeks
and the last row is week 19 and then a shot from this week, which is week 21!
I've gained about 13 lb.'s so far, I'm I'm finally starting to show!
Woot woot.

I'm kinda at that point where unless I'm wearing a tight shirt, I just look like I have a tummy {which there isn't anything wrong with}, but I can't wait till is obvious in all clothing that I have a bun in the oven.
And sorry to those who don't like the bear belly shots.. I'm not one to show my midriff off, but in this case I totally get a kick out of seeing how much I'm changing.
I'm officially 21 weeks, which means I'm half way done!
And let me tell you,
 time. is. flying. by.

I'm feeling great- I sometimes even forget I'm pregnant lol because the symptoms have been pretty mild second trimester- which I'm so thankful for!
I get headaches, worn out a little easier and my lower back hurts now and then-
but other than that I really can't complain.
First trimester was a doozy, so I'm very content where I'm at now.
We got to see some 3D images of him about two weeks ago and it was so cute to see his little toes, and arms wiggling around.
He's always moving like a million times a minute when we get ultrasounds so it's been tough to get a good look at his face- he's a little stubborn babe already!

But we've been able to see his profile, and it's the cutest thing ever.
I still can't believe we're having a baby.. someone needs to pinch me!

I'm not really craving anything specific and I was finally able to cook eggs and meat for the first time in 5 months!
But now, like making them again sounds horrific.
So I think I'll save cooking that stuff for when the babe's actually here.
I will say I am kinda picky as to what I do eat and I'm super indecisive.
Like only certain stuff sounds good, and it takes me an hour to decide what I eat-
thank goodness Zak is patient!
Speaking of Zak, he's been reading to baby each night and it's the sweetest thing.
I've been working out for about an hour a day 5 times a week, trying to drink TONS of water and really watching what I eat so baby's getting all his nutrients.
And sometimes I splurge on a little froyo:)

Hmm.. what else.
Oh and we kinda sorta almost have a name!
That has been so hard to figure out, but we're getting closer, which is exciting.
I love that my bump's getting bigger- I can't wait for it to be super round, I think bumps are just the cutest things ever and I love mine so much.
Anywho, that's enough baby talk!
I hope you have an awesome rest of your day!

grateful.

Sooo the past week has been a blur.
We've had a lot going on with our families,
including some emergencies to attend.
But the good news is, everyone is on the mend, we're where we should be and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, which is pretty dang awesome at this point.
With all the crazy going on, I kinda wanted to make a little list of the things I'm grateful for right now.

- I'm grateful that Zak and I got some alone time this weekend and were able to sneak in a dinner date to Red Robin, Barnes and Noble and dessert- it was perfect. Very needed, very appreciated and we both said we wished the day would last forever.
I love when we can be in our own little world, and kinda shut everything else out for a few hours.
- I'm very grateful we got those hours together.
- I'm grateful for this crazy little pup, he's the best playmate for Romie.

- I'm grateful for medical staff who help our loved ones in need.
- I'm grateful for a healthy little babe in my tummy.
- I'm grateful that Zak has been able to make it to each and every doctors appointment with me.
- I'm grateful that my family can laugh things off and come together during hard times.
- I'm grateful for Dilly Deli dates with my pop. And their bomb dot com turkey sammies and bread bowls with soup.
- I'm grateful for pookie bear. He has the sweetest soul.

- I'm grateful for fall, and the change of season.
- I'm grateful for Halloween decorations, because they make our house so much more fun.
- I'm grateful for pumpkin candles.
- I'm grateful for date nights. Cheesecake Factory and the movies- a perfect combo.

- I'm grateful for the Lord. Even though we're going through a tough trial right now,  this is exactly where we should be and it's making our family stronger.
- I'm grateful I'm able to exercise and fuel my body with the food it needs so baby and myself can be the happy and healthy.
- I'm grateful for our night time strolls with the pups. And holding hands with my hubs.
- I'm grateful for pumpkins, each one I pass at the grocery makes me smile.
- And I'm thankful for the future, and all we have to look forward to!

Hope you can find something to be grateful for today!

I met some amazing people, got inspired on a whole new level, learned a TON- like how to make this handy dandy gif..

and took home some awesome tools I needed for projects I'm working on..

yep I've got some cool stuff planned for the future and I can't wait to share it with you!
Anywho!

I hope your day is going wonderfully-
just wanted to pop in a say hello!
